Southwestern Europe Regional Contest

Welcome to the website of the Southwestern Europe Regional Contest (SWERC) 2019-2020, which was organized by Institut Polytechnique de Paris and took place at Télécom Paris on January 25–26, 2020. This year, a record number of 98 teams of 3 students competed to SWERC (95 of which were ranked). These teams were trained and accompanied by their coaches. All told, the event gathered around 400 people.
For the final standings of SWERC, please refer to the results page. The SWERC champion (pictured below) is EP Chopper from École polytechnique! EP Chopper is followed by UPC-1 from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (second place) and mETH from ETH Zürich (third place). These three teams will qualify to the 2020 ICPC World Finals in Moscow. Congratulations to them, and to all other participating teams!
